Xalan-j release 2.7.1 is underway 2007-08-08 - By Brian Minchau
After much delay the Xalan-J 2.7.1 release is underway.
According to section 5.3 j) of our charter at http://xalan.apache.org/charter.html 75% of the PMC members need to vote +1 on the release. I'm going to kick this vote off right away.
The proposed code for 2.7.1 is in subversion at: http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xalan/java/tags/xalan-j_2_7_1
This tag actually existed 7 months ago, but I just deleted the old one and created a new one based on trunk since it picks up some fixes.
Besides the PMC vote another thing is quality; I'm going to find a "volunteer" to run tests.
Lastly is the publishing of the release and website. I've done it before so I'll do this myself when we get to that point.
